TERMS OF SERVICE

1. Agreement and scope

These Terms of Service apply to the website and services operated under The Card Bank and CardSkin brands (the operator, “we,” “us,” or “our”), including both shops, accounts, The Bankroll Membership, Card Bank AI, Comp Lookup, community features, livestreams, and Sell To Me submissions. By using these services or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the services.

These terms do not waive any consumer right that cannot legally be waived. If a provision conflicts with applicable law, that law controls to the extent of the conflict.

2. Accounts and eligibility

Provide accurate account, payment, and delivery information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and notify us of suspected unauthorized account use. Do not impersonate another person or share, sell, or transfer paid access. You are responsible for activity you authorize through your account.

You must have legal capacity to enter this agreement and authorize payments. A minor may use the services only with a parent or legal guardian’s consent and supervision where permitted by law; purchases and subscriptions must be authorized by a person legally able to make them.

3. Products, availability, and orders

Only we offer products for sale in the storefronts; customers cannot create listings. Review each listing’s description, photographs, condition, compatibility, price, and availability before purchasing. Screen colors and photographs may differ from an item’s appearance. Included items are those expressly described in the listing, not display props.

Cards, sealed packs, and boxes do not guarantee a particular pull, grade, rarity, resale value, or investment return. Accessories do not guarantee protection against every type of damage. Follow the listing’s fit and care information; do not force an incompatible accessory onto a card or case.

Prices and availability may change before purchase. We may decline or cancel an order for unavailable stock, a material listing or pricing error, suspected fraud, or a legal restriction. If we cancel a paid order that we cannot fulfill, we will refund the cancelled portion. This exception does not create a customer right to cancel an otherwise valid order.

4. Payments and sales tax

Prices are displayed in US dollars. You authorize the payment method you provide to be charged for the order or subscription, together with applicable shipping and taxes shown at checkout. Payment processing is handled by Stripe and is subject to its applicable terms.

Tax, when applicable, is based on the information provided at checkout and our tax collection obligations. Provide accurate addresses. An estimate displayed in the cart is not the final charge; review the checkout total before paying.

5. Shipping and delivery

Physical orders ship within the United States through USPS Ground Advantage. Shipping charges are calculated using the combined shipping weight of the items in the cart and the shipping schedule offered at checkout. Displayed charges are not a promise of a real-time USPS quote.

Processing and carrier delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. Carrier delays or events beyond our reasonable control may affect delivery. Check your address carefully. Contact us using the contact information on your order receipt about a missing, damaged, or incorrect delivery so we can review it and any available carrier claim. Nothing here removes rights or remedies required by law.

6. All sales final

All sales are final. We do not accept customer-requested returns, refunds, exchanges, or order cancellations, including for a change of mind. Shipping charges are non-refundable except where required by law or where we cancel an unfulfilled order. Our Return Policy forms part of these terms.

This policy does not exclude remedies that applicable law requires, including any non-waivable rights relating to goods that are not delivered or do not conform to the purchase agreement. Nothing prohibits a good-faith dispute or chargeback permitted by law or your payment provider; fraudulent claims are prohibited.

7. The Bankroll Membership and recurring billing

The Bankroll Membership costs $15 per month and includes access to the membership page, Card Bank AI, and Comp Lookup. By subscribing, you authorize recurring monthly charges until you cancel. Any applicable tax and billing details are shown at checkout.

Cancel through the membership billing controls before your next renewal to avoid the next charge. Cancellation stops future renewal; access continues through the paid period. Partial or unused months are not refundable except where required by law. Memberships are personal and non-transferable. Failed payments may interrupt access.

We will provide advance notice of material subscription price or benefit changes, including any notice or consent required by law. You may cancel before a change takes effect. We do not promise uninterrupted service or unlimited third-party data searches.

8. Card Bank AI and Comp Lookup

These tools provide informational hobby guidance, not financial, investment, tax, or legal advice. AI can misidentify a card or produce incorrect, incomplete, or outdated answers. Photo identification is not authentication, grading, or an appraisal. Independently verify information before buying, selling, grading, or making any financial decision; no profit, outcome, or protection from loss is guaranteed.

Comp Lookup displays up to ten recent eBay sold results available from our data provider. Results may be cached for seven days and may not reflect all sales or the newest sale. Condition, grade, variations, shipping, and accepted offers can affect comparability. eBay and other third-party brands do not sponsor or endorse these tools unless expressly stated.

Member AI conversations and comp searches are private to that member and are not public profile activity. Necessary processing may involve our service providers. Do not upload payment details, confidential information, or content you have no right to share.

9. Family-friendly community and moderation

Community features belong to The Card Bank only. No direct messaging is offered. Do not post profanity, sexual or explicit content, threats, hate, harassment, scams, personal information about others, unlawful material, or content that infringes another person’s rights. Do not bypass moderation, impersonate others, manipulate activity, or solicit unauthorized sales.

Blocked content is not published. The first five blocked attempts receive escalating warnings; the fifth is a prominent pop-up. The sixth blocked attempt triggers a seven-day suspension, followed by a 30-day suspension and then a permanent block for further violations. Warning counts do not reset after suspension. Owner moderation can also hide content and issue strikes, and we may restrict access immediately when necessary for serious safety, fraud, or legal concerns.

Video clips are limited to 90 seconds and remain pending until owner approval. Photos and text may be screened automatically and reviewed by us. Screening cannot guarantee that all content is safe or accurate. Report concerning content; we may remove or restrict it while reviewing the report.

10. Your uploads and Sell To Me submissions

You retain ownership of your content. You confirm that you have the rights and permissions necessary to submit it, including permission from identifiable people where required. You grant us a non-exclusive license to host, store, display, and process it only as reasonably necessary to operate the features you use, moderate content, and meet legal obligations. This license does not authorize us to advertise with your private membership conversations or Sell To Me submissions.

Community posts and replies can be public. Sell To Me submissions and their replies are private between the submitting account and the owner. Submitting a card does not oblige us to buy it. Any purchase arrangement must be expressly agreed in the submission thread, including price, delivery, and verification terms. Do not send a card unless we have agreed to receive it. You must own the card or be authorized to sell it.

11. Our intellectual property and acceptable use

Our original logos, designs, photographs, copy, and website materials belong to us or our licensors. Third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners. You may use the site for its intended personal shopping and collector purposes; no ownership rights in our materials are transferred.

Do not copy our original materials for commercial use without permission, scrape or resell member data, overload or attack the service, bypass access controls, introduce malicious code, or reverse engineer protected features except where applicable law expressly permits it.

12. Third-party services and availability

Payment processors, carriers, sold-data providers, AI providers, and linked livestream services are independent third parties. Their availability and applicable terms may affect your use. Links are not endorsements. We cannot guarantee continuous availability, complete data, or error-free operation, and may temporarily suspend features for maintenance, security, or provider outages.

13. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the website, collector tools, and community services are provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. This does not override express product descriptions, warranties we expressly give, or mandatory consumer protections.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, lost profits, lost opportunities, or losses from reliance on AI guidance or comp results. Our total liability for a claim relating to the services or an order will not exceed the amount you paid us for the affected product or service in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

These exclusions and limits do not apply to liability that cannot legally be limited, including fraud, willful misconduct, gross negligence, or injury where applicable law prohibits the limitation. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions; in those jurisdictions the limitations apply only to the lawful extent.

14. Responsibility for misuse

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to indemnify us against third-party claims and reasonable associated costs caused by your unlawful use, infringement of others’ rights through your submitted content, or material breach of these terms. This does not cover claims caused by our own wrongdoing or impose obligations prohibited by consumer law.

15. Changes, termination, and disputes

We may update these terms and publish a new effective date. Material changes will receive any notice and consent required by law and will not retroactively change completed purchases or accrued rights. We may restrict or terminate access for violations, fraud, security risks, or legal requirements. Termination does not remove either party’s existing legal obligations or any refund right required by law.

Contact us first if you have a dispute so we can try to resolve it. These terms do not impose mandatory arbitration, waive class actions, or take away access to courts or regulators. Applicable law and jurisdiction will be determined under the relevant law, including mandatory consumer protections. If one provision is unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue to apply. Failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver.
